Reporting to the Manager, the Mental Health Therapist - Staff role focuses on delivering clinical services to adult clients. This full-time position in Community Addiction Services involves assessing needs, offering therapy, and managing case loads effectively. A Bachelor's degree in social work or psychology is required to ensure client-centric care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver clinical counseling services for adult outpatients
• Assess client needs and develop personalized treatment plans
• Provide expertise in group work and case management
• Document client progress and adjust treatment accordingly
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance service delivery
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or related field
• Strong computer and organizational skills
• Valid Class 5 driver's license
• Registered or eligible for registration with a professional association
