Medicine That Makes a Difference
One aspect that makes practicing at Baxter truly unique is the opportunity to participate in a shared local on-call rotation. With the nearest referral centre approximately five hours away, veterinarians in the region have the chance to practice a broader scope of medicine and surgery than many urban general practices. Supported by experienced colleagues and a collaborative network of area clinics, you'll develop valuable skills managing urgent and emergency cases while making a real difference for pets and families who rely on local veterinary care.

What You Bring

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent

Eligible for licensing in Ontario

Strong commitment to patient care and client service

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Collaborative mindset and desire to contribute positively to team culture

Interest in continuing education and professional growth

Confidence or willingness to develop skills in urgent and emergency case management within a supportive environment
