Matrix HR is seeking dependable Traffic Control Flaggers for immediate opportunities in Calgary, AB. This role is essential for maintaining safety and efficiency at construction sites, events, and other project locations by directing the flow of vehicles and pedestrians. Key Responsibilities

- Control and direct traffic flow at construction sites and other locations to ensure the safety of workers, drivers, and pedestrians

- Set up and maintain traffic control signs, cones, and barriers according to specific traffic control plans

- Communicate clearly with drivers and pedestrians to provide instructions and ensure compliance with regulations





- Coordinate effectively with other traffic control personnel to maintain a smooth and efficient flow of traffic

- Monitor work areas and follow all safety protocols, including the proper use of protective equipment

- Prepare and maintain accurate reports as required by site supervisors

- Identify and solve traffic-related challenges to ensure the safety of all individuals involved

- Maintain physical stamina to stand for long periods and work in various outdoor weather conditions

Qualifications

- Minimum of 2 weeks of field experience in traffic control or flagging

- Valid Flagging Certificate or Ticket is required

- Previous experience in the construction industry is a strong asset

- Possession of a valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle

- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with the public

- Attention to detail for the accurate setup of traffic control equipment

- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure or busy environments

- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
