The Traffic

Technician 1 role supports the Traffic Supervisor, performing design and drafting tasks while participating in various traffic operations processes.

Key responsibilities include data collection on traffic volumes and safety improvements, conducting inspections, and analyzing traffic-related statistics to recommend safety features. You will collaborate with community stakeholders to create effective traffic solutions. Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct field investigations and collect traffic data
- Perform inspections on traffic devices and intersections




- Analyze traffic collision statistics for safety upgrades
- Coordinate traffic support for special events
- Liaise with internal customers on development projects Requirements:
- Grade 12 completion and technical training in related discipline
- Minimum of one year technical work experience
- Experience in a municipal environment preferred
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
