Develop complex multi-year and multi-variable financial, economic and scenario models
Conduct financial reviews, assessments and analysis
Complete cost-benefit analysis, benchmarking, activity-based costing and options analysis
Develop financial forecasts, funding models and cost-management strategies
Assess project, program or organizational benefits and benefit realization
Review financial information and identify key risks, opportunities and implications
Translate detailed analysis into clear recommendations for executives and decision-makers
Create concise, executive-level reports, presentations and decision materials
Support workshops, client meetings and stakeholder discussions
Manage own workstreams and contribute to larger consulting engagements
Support business development by identifying opportunities, contributing to proposals and helping develop current client relationships
Requirements
Experience with financial modelling, economic modelling, forecasting or scenario analysis
Experience with financial reviews, assessments or business-case development
Experience with cost-benefit analysis, benchmarking or activity-based costing
Experience developing funding models or cost-management strategies
Experience preparing analysis and recommendations for executives or senior decision-makers
Experience in consulting, advisory, corporate finance, strategy, public-sector finance or a similarly analytical environment
Advanced use of Microsoft Excel
Strong capability with Word and PowerPoint
Experience contributing to client relationships, proposals or business development
Public-sector organization,
public-sector financial reporting or government funding experience is a strong asset
CPA or another recognized accounting designation, MBA, degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and directly relevant experience
Ability to work independently in an environment where the answer is not always obvious
Shortlisted candidates must complete a brief practical exercise
