The Town of Whitby seeks a proactive Working Foreperson for General Parks Maintenance. You will oversee the integrity of parkland, playgrounds, and recreational facilities, underpinning community engagement and excellence in service delivery. Key Responsibilities:
• Manage maintenance of parkland and municipal properties
• Train and supervise front line staff effectively
• Monitor safety compliance and customer service




• Inspect and report on maintenance program quality
• Participate in on-call emergency service operations

Requirements:
• Minimum of three years in General Parks Maintenance
• Landscape Technician Diploma or apprenticeship
• Certified Landscape Technician designation
• Standard First Aid & CPR ‘C’ certification
• Valid Class “DZ” Driver’s Licence
