At McRae’s Auto Electric, we specialize in heavy-duty electrical systems and components for mobile equipment. We’re looking for a skilled, detail-oriented technician to join our Elkford shop and build electrical components and wiring systems to a high standard.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Rebuild starters, alternators, DC motors and other automotive electrical components
Manufacture custom electrical systems and components
Build custom electrical harnesses and cables
Assist with shipping, receiving and general workshop duties




Provide customer support in our shop and at customer sites
QUALIFICATIONS Mechanical or equivalent trade certificate
3–5 years of mechanical workshop experience
Experience rebuilding mechanical or electrical components is highly valued
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures and specifications
Dependable attendance and a solid work ethic
Physically able to perform general workshop tasks
Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation
Red Seal certification is an asset
