This is a full-time position based at our Saskatoon Head Office working Mon – Fri, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.Eldorado Gold Saskatchewan | Foran is advancing the McIlvenna Bay project, a cornerstone asset and one of the most significant copper development projects in Canada. We believe in empowering our people, fostering a culture of growth, and creating opportunities for meaningful careers as we build the mines of the future.ThePayroll Administratoris responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation, company policies, and internal controls. This role manages end-to-end payroll activities including data validation, payroll processing, reconciliations, and statutory reporting while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality. You will work closely with HR and Finance to ensure employee data, compensation changes, and payroll inputs are accurate and aligned, while also serving as a key point of contact for payroll-related inquiries and acting as a liaison with external payroll providers.Job Responsibilities:Process full‑cycle payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy, completeness,
and compliance with legislation and company policies.Maintain payroll schedules, records, and employee information within the payroll system.Review and validate time and attendance data, including hours worked, overtime, shift premiums, and leave balances.Process, reconcile, and maintain payroll data including wages, deductions, benefits, vacation accruals, and RRSP contributions, resolving discrepancies as required.Prepare and process payroll payments, including direct deposits and manual payments.Assist with payroll remittances and reporting including income tax, CPP, EI, T4s, and Records of Employment.Support year‑end payroll activities, reconciliations, reporting, and payroll audits.Respond to employee and management inquiries related to payroll, advantages, and deductions.Act as a liaison with external payroll providers and system vendors.Assist Finance with payroll‑related reporting and documentation requirements.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate employee data, compensation changes, and reporting.Maintain payroll procedures and documentation to support accuracy, consistency, and continuous improvement.Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency and effectiveness.Job Qualifications and Skills:Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP)
designation or related post‑secondary diploma/degree preferred.3+ years of payroll processing experience or experience in a similar role, preferably within a mining or industrial environment.Experience working with payroll systems and software, with SuccessFactors considered an asset.Knowledge of payroll legislation, benefits administration, RRSP contributions, and share option calculations.Proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.High attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy and identify discrepancies.Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to resolve payroll‑related issues efficiently.Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretionCompensation and Benefits:We offer a competitive salary range of $66,500 - $73,500/year based on experience and qualifications.
