The general deal is working with the Securitization Technology team and, yeah, build, improve, and then keep running the enterprise applications that support capital markets and trading operations. Day to day, you’ll probably do a blend of application development and system upgrades, plus some cloud oriented work, and other general software engineering bits. The core tech stack is C, .NET, SQL Server, T-SQL, Git, CI/CD, Azure, and Google Cloud. You’ll also collaborate with both business people and other technology teams, that part is pretty normal, but it can get a little hectic, especially when releases are near , or when everything’s moving at once. NET/C Engineer, TD Securities is basically a full time thing with TD Securities. You’ll be doing a lot of design, but also more than that, stuff that touches both back and front end, and yeah you’ll work in capital markets environments. Build full stack solutions for capital markets technology, more or less end to end. Develop secure, scalable, and high performance applications.
Work tightly with business stakeholders in an Agile setup. Support trading platforms, plus securitization technology solutions, depending on what’s active. Responsibilities
Design, develop, and keep running .NET/C applications. Create full-stack applications using web technologies, with backend services attached. Do system monitoring, configuration, and troubleshooting when needed. Write code that’s clean secure and maintainable, kind of “no surprises later” energy. Run unit testing, integration testing and do peer code reviews, then document results. Support production deployment and help resolve issues, even the annoying ones. Take part in Agile planning, estimation, and overall project delivery. Develop technical solutions for business needs, in a way that makes sense for the team. Make sure apps follow security and coding standards, always. Requirements
Undergraduate Degree, or a Technical Certificate. Middleware experience (MQ or Caching) is a plus, not mandatory. Experience with Interest Rate Derivatives or Capital Markets is preferred. Strong analytical thinking, plus real problem solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, transparent enough for fast decisions. Ability to work on your own and also sort of mesh well in a team, you know, with other people.
