Travel Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) Long-Term Care

Location: Ottawa & Hawkesbury, Ontario

Job Overview

HealthOPM is currently hiring Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) who are interested in travel nursing opportunities within long-term care homes in Ottawa and Hawkesbury, Ontario . Key Responsibilities

- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and monitor residents for side effects
- Communicate effectively with families, interdisciplinary team members, and supervisors
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards




- Ensure compliance with healthcare protocols and safety guidelines

Qualifications

- Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification
- Experience working in long-term care , geriatrics , or community care is considered an asset
- Excellent communication, clinical, and organizational skills
- Willingness to travel and temporarily relocate (accommodation is provided)
