Responsibilities

- Load and unload cargo with care, utilizing heavy lifting techniques when necessary to handle freight efficiently
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs, manifests, and delivery receipts
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse teams to coordinate pickups and deliveries
- Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure the well-being of yourself and others on the road
- Report any vehicle issues or incidents promptly to ensure swift resolution and minimal disruption
Experience
- Proven experience driving heavy trucks or commercial vehicles with a clean driving record
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely as part of loading or unloading freight
- Familiarity with transportation regulations and safety standards applicable to commercial driving
- Strong physical stamina and endurance for long hours on the road and handling cargo
- Excellent navigation skills and knowledge of routes within the service area
