This position focuses on guiding families in both inpatient and outpatient settings for breastfeeding assistance. The Registered Nurse will be vital in maintaining Breastfeeding Friendly Initiative status through education and coaching. Successful candidates will demonstrate experience in maternal-infant care, demonstrating commitment to family-centered solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide inpatient and outpatient lactation consultations
• Develop care plans for families requiring feeding assistance
• Lead initiatives to maintain BFI status
• Coach staff on breastfeeding best practices
• Support follow-up for neonates at risk for jaundice

Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• NRP Certification and BCLS required
• Three years' experience in Mother Baby Unit
• Expertise in patient teaching and adult learning principles
• Positive work and attendance record
