Maintain, troubleshoot and fix mechanical issues, including adjusting, aligning and repairing power transmission systems, gearboxes, pumps and fans
Perform welding, brazing and soldering
Service compressed air and water piping systems
Safely move large, heavy machine components using cranes, jacks and hoists
Install recent equipment and piping systems
Read and follow maintenance procedures for electrical and instrumentation equipment
Interpret engineering drawings, schematics and service manuals to determine work procedures
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and applicable codes
Perform regular housekeeping to maintain a safe and clean work area
Collaborate with outside contractors and inspectors
Maintain working relationships with coworkers, contractors and customers
Communicate and liaise with other departments
Respond to and manage maintenance emergencies as required
Perform other maintenance assignments and duties as required
Requirements Must possess a valid 433A Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) License or equivalent Red Seal certification
Proven experience in an industrial environment is a strong asset
Knowledge of pumps, filters, gearboxes and valves
Functional computer skills for logging maintenance activities, tracking work orders, and accessing procedures
Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
Exemplary oral and written communication skills
G license required
Ability to work effectively outdoors across various weather conditions




Must be available and willing to work rotating shifts (Morning and Afternoon schedules)
Valid work authorization in the country where the job is located is required
Valid documentation confirming eligibility to work must be provided before the start date
Some overtime will be necessary
