Design electrical and electronic circuits for new products
Participate in the selection of electrical/electronic components
Develop and assemble prototype circuits using microcontrollers
Develop test plans and participate in the commissioning of electronic circuits
Participate in design reviews
Prepare and maintain up-to-date design documentation
Design products while considering the capabilities and constraints of the manufacturing facility (DFM)
Conduct pre-certification testing and support product certification (UL, CE)
Provide second-level technical support to the technical services team for electrical/electronic issues
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and programming
Participate in all stages of development, from technology exploration through production launch
Work under the guidance of a senior engineer during design reviews, component selection, and testing
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (completed or in progress)
0-3 years of relevant experience (internships and academic projects count)
Member of the OIQ, or eligible and committed to becoming a member
Proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written
Curiosity, thoroughness, and a desire to learn in a real-world manufacturing environment
Assets include: knowledge of Altium software
