TheExecutiveSupport&WorkplaceDevelopmentCoordinatorisresponsibletoprovideconfidentialexecutive;,administrative,andprojectsupporttotheChiefAdministrativeOfficer(CAO)andSeniorLeadershipTeam.Thispositionwillcoordinateexecutiveoperations,supportmunicipalpolicydevelopment,corporateinitiatives,andstrategicprojects,whileleadingemployeewellness,engagement,recognition,andworkplacedevelopmentprograms.

Responsibilities:
ExecutiveSupportServices
Provideconfidential,high-leveladministrativeandprojectsupporttotheChiefAdministrativeOfficer(CAO)
Conductresearchandassistinthedevelopment,review,tracking,andcoordinationofmunicipalpolicies,procedures,andreports
Managecalendars,appointments,meetings,andschedulingprioritiesfortheCAO
Prepareandeditprofessionalcorrespondence,reports,presentations,meetingagendas,andminutes
Coordinatebusinesstravel,conferenceregistrations,andeventlogisticswhilemaintainingbudgetandschedulingrequirements
Maintainconfidentialrecords,files,andinformationincompliancewithmunicipalpolicies,privacylegislation,andrecordsmanagementstandards
Supportmattersinvolvinglegalcounselbycoordinatingsensitivedocumentation,communications,andconfidentialmaterials
Serveasaprimarypointofcontactforstaff,electedofficials,externalagencies,andmembersofthepublic,respondingtoinquiriesanddirectingissuesappropriately
DevelopandcoordinateinternalcommunicationmaterialsinsupportofSeniorLeadershipTeaminitiatives,meetings,andstrategicpriorities
Assistinthepreparationandadministrationofdepartmentalandprogrambudgetsandrelatedtracking
WorkplaceDevelopment&EmployeeWellness;
Develop,implement,andmanageemployeewellness,engagement,recognition,andretentionprogramsthatsupportapositiveworkplaceculture
Coordinatewellnessactivitiesandinitiativesthatpromoteemployeehealth,well-being,workplacesafety,andwork-lifebalance
Coordinateandsupportemployeetraining,professionaldevelopment,successionplanning,andworkplacedevelopmentinitiatives
Plananddeliverstaffappreciationevents,andemployeeengagementactivities
Assistwithemployeeengagementsurveysandsupporttheevaluationandcontinuousimprovementofwellnessandengagementprograms
Ensurecompliancewithapplicablelegislation,municipalpolicies,andworkplacebestpractices
CorporateInitiatives&SpecialProjects;
CollaboratewiththeCAOandSeniorLeadershipTeamtosupportcorporateinitiatives,policydevelopment,andorganizationalimprovementprojects
Conductresearch,analyzedata,andpreparereportsandrecommendationstosupportdecision-makingandCouncilpriorities
Coordinatespecialprojects,developworkplans,monitortimelinesanddeliverables,andtrackprojectprogress
Facilitatecross-departmentalcollaborationtoadvancecorporateobjectivesandcontinuousimprovementinitiatives
Assistwithstrategicplanning,grantapplications,programreporting,andprojectdocumentation
CompleteotherdutiesasassignedbytheChiefAdministrativeOfficer
Education&ExperienceRequirements;:
Post-secondaryeducationinPublicAdministration,BusinessAdministration,OrganizationalDevelopment,HumanResourcesorarelatedfield
3-5yearsofexperienceinpublicadministration,preferablyinamunicipalsetting
Previousexperienceprovidingexecutive-leveladministrativesupportandworkplacedevelopmentinitiatives
UnderstandingofHumanResourcespractices,legislation,andprogramsconsideredanasset
AMCTOMunicipalAdministrationProgramcompletionconsideredanasset
Acombinationofeducationandrelevantexperiencemaybeconsidered
RequiredKnowledge,Skills&Competencies;:
Strongunderstandingofmunicipalgovernmentoperations,regulatorycompliance,andpublicadministration
Knowledgeoforganizationalbehaviourprinciplesandpractices
