Staffmax is helping our healthcare client hire a compassionate and organized Medical Receptionist for a 4-month contract. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for patients and play a crucial part in maintaining a smooth, professional medical office environment.

Contract length: 4 months
Location: Vancouver, BC

Key Responsibilities:

Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally

Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments

Update patient records and maintain accurate files in EMR systems

Process payments and issue receipts

Ensure the waiting area is tidy and welcoming

Liaise with doctors, nurses, and other staff to coordinate patient care

Requirements:





Previous experience in a medical or clinic setting

Familiarity with EMR systems such as Accuro, OSCAR, or similar

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism

Organized, with excellent attention to detail and multitasking ability
