• Build and grow a dedicated client portfolio through relationship management, financial services support, and exceptional client service
• Deliver CIBC’s Imperial Service approach as a single point of contact for clients
• Help clients plan for immediate needs and future goals, including securing futures, home ownership, and business setup
• Provide tailored advice and solutions across day-to-day banking, investments, lending, and estate planning
• Cultivate networks to establish new client relationships
• Understand the local market and potential client base to create sales plans and convert leads
• Build relationships and generate opportunities that deliver bottom-line results
• Leverage CIBC credit and investment solutions using a needs-based approach
• Attend local events and participate in marketing and outreach activities to increase CIBC brand awareness
• Work full time on-site at banking centres
Requirements
1–3 years of experience providing financial advice to clients and establishing relationships while achieving performance targets
Current accreditation and good standing in The Canadian Securities Course (CSC), Canadian Investments Funds Course (CIFC), or Investment Funds in Canada Course (IFC)
Must meet eligibility requirements for CIRO-MFD licensing
Quebec pathway: current accreditation and positive standing in AMF licensing
Quebec pathway: successful completion of CIFC or CSC to support AMF licensing
Quebec pathway: Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC)




Legal eligibility to work at the specified location(s)
Valid work or study permit where applicable
Flexibility to work banking centre hours, including evenings and weekends
Flexibility to work at multiple banking centres within a reasonable travel distance
Quebec CSI/ICB Investment and Taxation Fundamentals Course (0774) and Legal & Ethical Aspects of Financial Planning Course (0790) are assets, not required
