In this essential role, you'll report directly to the Director of Care and embrace responsibilities such as implementing care plans, monitoring vital signs, and supervising personal care staff. This position focuses on ensuring high-quality nursing standards for cognitively impaired seniors while working effective shifts of 22.5 hours biweekly from 2 PM to 10 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide resident care according to nursing standards and orders
• Monitor health and document changes in condition
• Supervise personal care staff and their responsibilities
• Assist with RAI MDS preparation and assessments
• Conduct medication passes accurately and timely
Requirements:
• Valid certificate from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Experience with cognitively impaired individuals
• Solid organizational and time management skills
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently and in teams
