Join Aerotek as an Excavator and Dozer Operator focused on roadway construction in Northern Alberta. You will operate heavy machinery, ensure site safety, and maintain quality in challenging environments.

This is a contract position based out of Wetaskiwin, AB. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of two years operating excavators or dozers, with significant experience in roadway construction and earthworks. This role requires compliance with strict safety protocols while working 12-hour shifts in remote settings, with an emphasis on efficient drainage systems and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate heavy equipment for roadway construction projects
• Maintain drainage systems and manage site access roads
• Perform earthworks for water retention and containment




• Coordinate and lead crews on remote work sites
• Conduct pre-operational checks and routine equipment maintenance

Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of heavy equipment operation experience
• Valid tickets for dozers and/or excavators required
• Willingness to work on a rotational schedule
• Knowledge of safety protocols and drainage management
• Robust time management and documentation skills
