The Opportunity Great North Airlines is expanding our CRJ flight deck and hiring experienced Captains to operate regional jet missions across Canada, trans-border, and internationally. As Captain, you hold primary responsibility for each flight, lead and supervise the crew, and ensure the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of our aircraft in diverse and often mission-critical environments.
What You’ll Do
Command CRJ series aircraft with an unwavering focus on safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
Complete all pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight duties in accordance with Transport Canada regulations and Company policies and procedures.
Supervise and mentor flight crew members, ensuring all duties are performed to Company standards and regulatory requirements.
Exercise sound judgment in all phases of flight and make operational decisions in dynamic environments.
Coordinate with Dispatch, Maintenance, and Ground Operations to deliver reliable ACMI and charter services.
Maintain professional communication with the Chief Pilot and carry out additional duties as assigned.
What You Bring
Minimum 4,000 hours total flight time.
Minimum 500 hours propeller time.
Transport Canada ATPL (Aeroplane) and Category 1 Medical.
Ability to obtain Transport Canada Security Clearance.
Legally entitled to work in Canada.
Eligible to operate Company aircraft domestically, trans-border, and internationally without restriction.
Fluent in English.
Aviation diploma/degree considered an asset.
