Contract Details

Please note this is a one-year contract position with the possibility of renewal. Are you passionate about television? Do you have experience creating digital content for the entertainment industry, with your finger on the pulse of digital media trends?

Can you blend bold creativity with a sharp eye for detail to turn emerging trends into standout digital experiences? In this role, you will work within Radio-Canada’s Digital Television team to produce original content (e.g., interviews, set tours, exclusives) aimed at showcasing our programming and maximizing the reach of our content and series. You will collaborate closely with the Editorial, Productions, Content Marketing, Programming, Marketing & Communications and Promotion teams.

Conceive and produce video content for TV and event programming. Plan, script and conduct engaging interviews with programming talent, crew and guests. Provide on-set video coverage. Develop creative packaging for content and write compelling promotional copy.

Execute simple video edits optimized for digital and social media best practices. Edit photos. Participate in creative brainstorms, evaluate team needs and contribute to the production schedule. Analyze performance metrics, deliver actionable recommendations and adapt content strategies accordingly.

This position is a combination of remote work and in-office presence. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Three (3)



years’ relevant experience in video production. Interest in and deep understanding of the Canadian French-language television industry and its star system.

Solid interpersonal skills, diplomacy and professional tact when interacting with public figures and TV production teams. Hands‑on experience with video capture. Strong ability to use video processing tools.

Ability to quickly master new software, including content management systems (CMSs) and internal video workflows. Excellent command of written French. A natural instinct for digital formatting, copywriting and platform best practices.

Meticulous attention to detail and high standards for work quality. Ability to work independently in the field and demonstrate strong initiative. Deep understanding of digital user behaviour to deliver impactful, engaging formats.

Proficiency in creating visual content using Adobe Express. Strong understanding of CBC/Radio-Canada’s strategic direction and corporate vision. French language proficiency test. Candidates may be subject to skills and knowledge testing.
