Explore a rewarding role as a Casual Early Childhood Educator with School District No. 60. Your contributions will support preschool children in nurturing, developmentally appropriate environments.
In this position, you will report to the District Principal Early Learning & Child Care. You'll collaborate with teams to implement educational programs like Strong Start and preschool. Ensuring safety and planning engaging activities for children aged 0-5 are key aspects of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create welcoming environments for preschoolers and families
• Plan and facilitate developmentally appropriate activities
• Ensure licensing compliance and child safety
• Connect families with community services and schools
• Maintain and promote SD60 Early Learning programs
Requirements:
• Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent education
• Four months' experience working with children 0-5
• ECE Diploma or current Assistant Certificate in progress
• Current First Aid and Food Safe Level 1 certifications
• Robust interpersonal skills and team collaboration
