Lead snowmaking and trail maintenance at Ontario’s premier Blue Mountain Resort. This full-time, contract position focuses on ensuring protected trails while managing a dedicated team during winter operations.

As the Snowmaking Supervisor, you will coordinate daily objectives for your team and assist in various tasks like tree trimming and drainage setup. Collaboration with other leaders to develop training programs and maintain equipment is essential. You’ll also manage team performance and ensure resort compliance with safety regulations during both winter and summer maintenance projects.

Key Responsibilities:
• Schedule daily operations and set team objectives
• Assist with setup of ribbons, fences, and drainage
• Develop and track training programs for staff




• Create and update departmental SOPs in collaboration
• Manage team performance and resolve complaints

Requirements:
• Valid G class drivers’ license required
• Experience operating snowmobiles on steep slopes
• Strong understanding of safety standards and operations
• Knowledge of OHSA and TSSA regulations
• Familiarity with Blue Mountain trail systems an asset
