Edson Packaging is seeking a Temporary Electrician. As a Red Seal-certified Electrician, you will be responsible for performing electrical wiring and related tasks to support the assembly, installation, and testing of automated packaging equipment.
Are You Excited About This Work? Read electrical drawings and schematics to complete wiring tasks. Install and wire electrical components, panels, motors, and other equipment. Perform AC/DC industrial wiring on automated packaging machines. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during assembly and testing. Assist with equipment testing and commissioning. Follow quality, safety, and assembly standards at all times. Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe. Support basic electrical maintenance as required. Assist with mechanical assembly when needed.
Valid 442A or 309A Electrician Certificate (Red Seal preferred).
Previous experience in industrial automation, manufacturing, or machine building.
Minimum 5 years of electrical experience, including apprenticeship.
Strong knowledge of AC/DC industrial wiring.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings.
Experience with PLCs and industrial controls is an asset.
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
