As a full-time Mammography Technologist in a dynamic healthcare setting, you will operate mammographic and ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. You'll be responsible for ensuring patient safety and effective communication within a multidisciplinary team while adhering to professional standards and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities: • Operate mammography and ultrasound units for patient imaging • Ensure patient-centered care during every procedure • Communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary environment • Travel to various sites,
including the Nova Scotia Breast Screening Mobile Unit • Maintain a culture of safety and compliance in operations
Requirements: • Graduation from an accredited School of Radiological Technology • CAMRT certification and NSCMIRTP licensure • Willingness to pursue continuing education in mammography • Basic Life Support Certification • Experience in additional diagnostic imaging modalities considered an asset
