Transition Team Assistant Manager How does the role impact the organization? Raymond James Ltd. is seeking a qualified Transition Assistant Manager to join the team. Under the direction of the Manager, Transition Services, the Transition Assistant Manager plays a key role in supporting the successful onboarding of Financial Advisors. This position combines operational oversight, team leadership, and hands‑on execution to ensure transitions are managed efficiently and effectively. The role also provides leadership support to the Transition Team and contributes to departmental strategy, performance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What will your role be responsible for? Support direct oversight and day-to-day guidance of Transition Planners and Transition Administrators
Act as a mentor, coach, and escalation point for team members
Assist in performance management, development, and training of team staff
Help drive team engagement, productivity, and accountability
Oversee and actively participate in onboarding of Financial Advisors and Agents
Act as a primary point of contact for assigned transitions
Monitor transition progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders and senior management
Coordinate and manage transition timelines, deliverables, and milestones
Customize transition plans based on individual advisor needs
Ensure adherence to policies and procedures related to compliance, operations, and technology
Maintain and improve transition processes, checklists, and reporting tools
Analyze transition metrics and provide recommendations for improvement
Assist in managing departmental goals, projects, and initiatives




Support quality assurance and documentation accuracy throughout transitions
Act as a liaison between Financial Advisors and internal departments
Maintain ongoing communication with transitioning advisors and their teams
Coordinate advisor setup, including IT, office setup, and required approvals
Facilitate CIRO registration and insurance requirements
Contribute to departmental projects and cross-functional initiatives
Participate in presentations to prospective Financial Advisors during head office visits (HOV)
Assist in developing new training materials, tools, and systems
Support continuous improvement and innovation within the transition function

What do we expect from you? To qualify for this opportunity, you possess: 5+ years in the Investment Brokerage or Financial Services Industry
College diploma or degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC)
Completion of the Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH)
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & Copilot)
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills
Prior leadership, supervisory, or assistant management experience
Experience with Dataphile and Microsoft Dynamics CRM
Strong understanding of Financial Advisor and Sales Assistant processes
Strong leadership and coaching capabilities




Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Proactive mindset with sound decision‑making ability
Ability to work independently and within a team
Strong presentation and communication skills
High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality

Salary Range: $90,000 - 100,000 annually, in addition to competitive performance bonuses/incentives.
Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, internal equity, and other job requirements.
