Drive operational excellence as Electrical Trades Coordinator for Seaspan Shipyards in North Vancouver. This 12-month term role focuses on training coordination, workforce management, and compliance support.
In this key role, you will report to the Supervisor of Trades Coordinators and collaborate closely with the Trades Superintendent. Your primary tasks will include scheduling training programs, maintaining accurate records in the Learning Management System, and ensuring the workforce is mobilized and supported. You'll also act as a vital link between trades employees and management, fostering robust relationships for effective feedback.
Key Responsibilities:
• Schedule and coordinate training for shipyard workforce
• Maintain records in Learning Management System
• Monitor internal control and compliance guidelines
• Support apprentice program management
• Facilitate communication with trades workforce
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in business or HR
• 2-4 years in high-volume administration
• Experience in operational or industrial settings
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
