ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a Fill Site Safety Coordinator. In this role, you will help ensure the fill site operation safety by supporting the management and employees to follow and adhere to Amrize safety policy, procedures, protocols, and standards. Also, you will provide guidance and support to implement the Amrize Health and Safety Management System (HSMS) and strengthen the H&S; competencies across the site. You will provide day-to-day guidance to management, staff, and supervisors in the continued building of a strong H&S; culture.
WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH Coordinate and oversee safe truck traffic in the fill site area and across the operation.
Create and edit safe work procedures for required tasks throughout the operation.
Conduct monthly and annually fire extinguisher inspections; Inspect emergency response supplies.
Provide H&S; expertise and support to site management and supervisors for the management of H&S; Attend Ministry of Mines inspections and implement required corrective actions.
