This role focuses on both new product development and improving existing designs within a manufacturing environment. You will enhance manufacturability and long-term serviceability while closely collaborating with project management, suppliers, and installation teams. Your contributions will include generating detailed models, BOMs, RFQs, and conducting design reviews.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop innovative mechanical designs from concept to production
• Create detailed models and engineering documentation using SolidWorks
• Conduct structural analysis and design reviews using FEA tools




• Coordinate with suppliers and installation teams throughout projects
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for existing products

Requirements:
• Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent experience
• Proficient in SolidWorks with experience in sheet metal and weldments
• Familiarity with structural calculations and fabrication processes
• P.Eng. designation or capability to provide engineering stamps preferred
• Several years of product design experience in manufacturing
