Make a meaningful impact at Nezul Be Hunuyeh as a Cultural Support Worker in Fort St. James, BC. Provide essential support for traditional practices and enhance the well-being of children, youth, and families.
In this permanent full-time role, you will collaborate closely with the Cultural Supervisor to develop life skills through cultural activities and community programs. Your work will engage with families and local Elders to facilitate workshops that foster social-emotional growth. Building solid relationships within the community is vital as you contribute to the agency’s mission.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and assist with cultural workshops and community events
• Collaborate with families and Elders to deliver impactful programs
• Build trusting relationships with children and families
• Coordinate daily program activities and transportation as needed
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with standards
Requirements:
• Acceptable Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Clearance
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with acceptable Driver’s Abstract
Support traditional values and practices while enhancing the lives of families at Nezul Be Hunuyeh.
