Veterinary Assistant Team Coordinator Emergency Compensation: $19.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience TheERVTATeam Coordinatorwill also workclosely with the hospital’sLeadership teamto promote a positive hospital image and continuously work towards the bettermentof thewholehospital. Assistancewith organization,leadershipand roll-out of hospital-wide initiatives Participates in the development of VAERC Standards of Care/SOPs Participates in the development of VAERC Technical Training Manual Assistswith identifying performance improvement opportunities, and provides support/training/skill development When schedule permits, attends recruitment sessions at local educational institutions to discuss student opportunities at VAERC Assistswithmaintaininghospital safety standards and bringing concernsforwardto the Health & Safety Committee Ensuresquarterly/bi-annual ER teammeetings are scheduled and carried outon time Administrative duties: Administrative time assigned on an as-needed basis. With GM/AGMsupport,assistwith candidate screening,interviewingvia Workday job requisitions.
Participates in hospital errands as needed Follows VCA Canada policies and procedures as set out in the VCA Employee Manuals. Must be able to work in a team environment with minimal supervision. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, Outlook,Woofware,
