Responsibilities

Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and diagnostic procedures with precision and care.

Perform laboratory tests, including blood work, urinalysis, and other diagnostic procedures to aid in accurate diagnoses.

Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian, ensuring proper documentation.

Provide compassionate patient restraint and monitoring to ensure safety during procedures.

Maintain clean and organized treatment areas, surgical suites, and laboratory spaces to uphold the highest standards of hygiene.

Educate pet owners on post-treatment care, medication administration, and preventive health measures.

Support inventory management by stocking supplies,



preparing surgical instruments, and tracking laboratory materials.

Qualifications

Previous experience working as a veterinary technician or in a related animal health role is preferred.

Strong laboratory experience is highly desirable to efficiently perform diagnostic testing.

Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members.

Ability to handle animals gently yet confidently during examinations and procedures.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks seamlessly.

A genuine passion for animal welfare and a commitment to providing outstanding care.

Certification as a Veterinary Technician (CVT) or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory; relevant training will be considered.

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
