This role requires strong leadership skills and extensive experience in health and safety management, especially in industrial settings. You will monitor compliance, develop safety programs, conduct audits, and analyze incidents to proactively minimize risks across all divisions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide consultative leadership to management and staff
• Monitor compliance with health and safety policies
• Develop and evaluate wellness and safety programs




• Audit effectiveness of health and safety practices
• Investigate major accidents and incidents

Requirements:
• University degree with 7-10 years of experience
• Managerial experience in a unionized setting preferred
• Accredited health and safety certification required
• Knowledge of Canadian OH&S; legislation
• Proven ability to mentor and manage staff
