We are recruiting for an experienced Service Manager to join an established specialist engineering and manufacturing business.
This is a key position within the operation, taking responsibility for a busy service function and leading a small team of field-based engineers. It is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining people management, customer service, planning and problem-solving in a diverse, hands-on role.
You will be joining a friendly and supportive business where people know each other, work closely together and take pride in delivering a high standard of service. There is also plenty of scope to bring your own ideas to the role, improve ways of working and make your own mark.
A full handover and ongoing support will be provided to help you get up to speed.
As Service Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the service department, making sure engineers are supported, customers are kept informed and jobs progress smoothly from planning through to completion.
