Elevate aquatic program services as a Part-Time Lifeguard/Instructor Level 2 at the Regional District of Nanaimo's Ravensong Aquatic Centre. Contribute to the Recreation Department with your lifeguarding and instruction expertise.

We are seeking two dedicated Lifeguard/Instructors to join our Aquatic Services team. This permanent part time role requires engaging in community aquatic programs while assisting team members to meet departmental goals. Ideal candidates will have 1-3 years of relevant experience and necessary certifications.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide supervision for aquatic programs and patrons
• Assist in meeting service expectations and departmental objectives
• Maintain safety standards in the aquatic environment




• Train and mentor junior lifeguards and instructors
• Contribute to the operation of the Ravensong Aquatic Centre

Requirements:
• High school diploma and 1-3 years experienced in aquatics
• National Lifeguard Award and CPR Certification
• Recognized First Aid Certification or WorkSafeBC equivalency
• Pool Operator Level 1 certification
• Prior experience at Ravensong Aquatic Centre preferred
