Join a dynamic data centre team as a hands-on Data Centre Facility Technician in London, Ontario. Focus on physical infrastructure, equipment, and cabling while providing IT support in office and after hours.

In this role, you will engage directly with data centre operations, bringing your hands-on experience to help maintain safety and reliability. Approximately 70-80% of your work will involve facility-focused tasks, with the remaining time spent on IT support. You'll troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, work with HVAC systems, and respond to alarms to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular data centre walk-throughs to monitor equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
• Perform preventive maintenance on facility systems




• Support operation of UPS, generators, and cooling systems
• Install and move copper and fibre cabling

Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year hands-on data centre experience preferred
• Strong cabling experience with copper and fibre
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings
• Experience with HVAC and monitoring systems
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
