Become an integral part of Strides Toronto as a full time Service Coordinator for Urgent Response Services. This position combines family support, planning, and service navigation for children and youth facing mental health challenges.
In this role, you will provide service navigation, planning, and support for families with children experiencing complex emotional and behavioral issues. You will directly connect families with essential community resources for infants to youth up to 18 years. This role requires effective engagement with cross-sectoral teams to coordinate timely services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with families to develop comprehensive support plans
• Connect families with necessary community services
• Ensure accurate,
timely documentation in client systems
• Utilize evidence-based tools like ABA and CBT in support
• Engage with mental health and developmental resources
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences or related field
• Minimum 1 year experience with children and youth
• Extensive knowledge of mental health disorders
• Cultural sensitivity and community engagement skills
• Experience with Anti-Oppressive frameworks
