The Hamlet of Gjoa Haven seeks an experienced Lead Mechanic (Heavy Duty & Automotive) to oversee shop operations and ensure the municipal fleet stays protected, reliable, and well maintained. This hands-on leadership role requires dual-ticketed expertise and the ability to manage a shop team.
You will lead preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair heavy and light vehicles, mentor apprentices, and support safety compliance in a remote northern community.
