Join Taproot Community Support Services as an Overnight Residential Support Worker. This full-time position focuses on assisting residents with developmental disabilities during overnight hours to ensure their safety and well-being.

In this role, you will be vital in maintaining a safe environment for two individuals with developmental disabilities at a current group home in Abbotsford. Working from 11 PM to 7 AM, you must monitor residents and assist with their medical and behavioral needs. Collaboration and communication with the day staff and emergency response will be crucial to your success.

Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor residents' well-being throughout the night
• Administer medications per established policies
• Follow up on directions from day staff




• Ensure compliance with house rules and curfews
• Maintain cleanliness of living spaces and perform minor maintenance

Requirements:
• Grade 12 education and related certificate or experience
• Current Occupational First Aid Level 1 certification
• Experience with behavior management preferred
• Ability to complete a Criminal Record Check
• Familiarity with basic computer applications
