Volunteer Board Members — 2026–2028

Artesian Performing Arts is a nonprofit charitable arts organization in Regina, Saskatchewan. We are seeking motivated, community-minded volunteers to join our Board of Directors for the 2026–28 term (fall 2026–fall 2028).

The Artesian is committed to creating a diverse, supportive, inclusive, accessible, and safe space for artists, audiences, and the broader community.

About the Role The Artesian has a working Board, and board members are key to the success and growth of the organization. We’re looking for people who are ready to get to work, take initiative, and make things happen.

Board members contribute to

- Strategic planning and organizational growth
- Governance, organizational development, and oversight
- Fundraising, sponsorship, and revenue generation
- Community partnerships and relationship-building
- Board committees, with each committee working from a transparent work plan and reporting progress to the full Board
- Monthly Board meetings and other activities that move the organization forward

The Artesian is focused not only on sustainability, but on growth. We are looking for people with vision who understand what it takes to help an organization grow and are willing to put in the work to make that growth happen. We want to use our Strategic Plan as a working tool—ensuring that our activities and decisions move us toward the goals we’ve set. The expected commitment is generally a few hours per week, including meetings, committee work, and other board activities,



with some variation depending on the projects and responsibilities you take on.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for motivated, engaged people who take initiative, follow through, and want to make things happen.

We’re particularly interested in experience with leadership and governance, small business or entrepreneurship, finance and revenue generation, fundraising and sponsorship, community economic development, and community partnerships.

We encourage working artists, Artesian patrons, and community members with fresh perspectives and strong community connections to apply.
