Empower seniors at AgeCare Shawnee as a casual Occupational Therapist. Assess, plan, and implement therapies to enhance independence and engagement within their environment.

In this role, you'll evaluate residents’ needs and create individualized treatment plans. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maintain consistent care. Regular assessments and the opportunity to supervise team members are key aspects of this position.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and reassess residents to identify rehabilitation needs
• Establish goals and document individual care plans
• Maintain ongoing communication with the care team
• Manage residents' statistics and documentation
• Review and update Rehabilitation Department policies

Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Eligible for Canadian and Alberta Occupational Therapy associations
• AADL Authorizer status is a plus
• Experience with MDS and/or RAI preferred
• Robust communication and interpersonal skills
