We are seeking a creative, dynamic, committed educator to join our team at
COLONEL BY SECONDARY SCHOOL as :
Secondary Long-Term Occasional Teacher
Eligibility
All qualified secondary Occasional Teachers are eligible to apply for LTO postings for which they are qualified.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will be in positive standing with the Ontario College of Teachers and possess the following:
Required OCT Divisional Qualifications
French as a Second Language
OCT Additional Qualifications considered an asset
N/A

Order of Consideration
Applications will be assessed according to the requirements and OCT qualifications outlined in this job posting, and in accordance with Policy P.146.HR Equitable Recruitment, Hiring and Promotion.
A minimum of 3 qualified applicants will be offered an interview, including:
At least three (3) teachers, who are currently employed as an occasional teacher with the OCDSB, who have the required OCT qualifications, and who best meet the criteria outlined in the job posting.
If fewer than three (3) qualified applicants apply,
all qualified applicants will be interviewed.
The 2026-27 school year will consist of semesters. Teachers can teach a maximum of three (3) classes within a semester, which equals 100%.
