As a Welder, you will begin each day with a toolbox meeting to assess project progression and urgent requirements. You will be responsible for welding a variety of structural components such as beams, columns, and skids, while also reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings. Perform FCAW and MCAW welding on beams, columns, trusses, braces, and connection assemblies.

Assemble metal sections and plates into units and sub-units. Interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication details. Assist with fitting, aligning, and preparing steel components prior to welding.

Ensure welds meet CWB/CSA or AWS D1.Set up, operate, and maintain welding machines, torches, grinders, and related tools. Operate overhead cranes.

Experience in structural welding for commercial and industrial projects involving beams, columns, frames, and platforms. Proficiency in Flux Core (FCAW) welding with CWB flat and horizontal certification required. Journeyman, apprentice,



or unticketed welder qualifications.

Fabrication shop experience. This position offers a 3-month contract with the potential for a long-term opportunity based on performance and skill. The company is a preferred vendor for large contractors across Western Canada with bookings into 2027 and beyond.
