At AgeCare South Terrace, we are seeking a dedicated Health Care Aide who will work alongside our team to deliver high-quality care to residents. This position requires collaboration under the supervision of a Staff Nurse, ensuring safe and thorough personal care. Engage in varied tasks such as bathing, assisting with transfers, and providing routine treatments, all aimed at fostering a comfortable environment for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist residents with bathing, washing, and personal hygiene
• Support transfers using lifts and appropriate equipment




• Help residents during meals and snack times
• Provide routine treatments as directed by nursing staff
• Accompany residents to activities and appointments
Requirements:
• One year of experience in a care setting preferred
• Completion of recognized HCA/PCA Certificate
• Active registration with CLHA
• Fluent in English, both orally and in writing
• Post-secondary education is an asset
