Options Community Services is seeking a dedicated Family Support Outreach Worker to support families throughout the Southern Fraser region. You will assess client needs and develop personalized plans guiding parents in areas like child development and family dynamics. Building solid relationships is key as you connect families to community resources, facilitate workshops, and maintain accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct initial home visits to assess family needs • Develop and implement personalized support plans • Facilitate group activities and workshops for families • Maintain accurate client records and reports • Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality in all interactions
Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in human services or related field • At least one year of relevant experience • Knowledge of child and family development • Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle access • CPR/First Aid certification required
