The Assistant
Coach is integral to the Student Experience portfolio, collaborating with various sports staff to design and assess strength and conditioning programs. This role aims to support student-athletes by reducing injury risks while improving their overall performance in a competitive environment. You'll also oversee facility operations, ensuring safety and efficacy in training. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive conditioning programs for athletes
- Track progress and adjust training routines as needed
- Provide individualized support and performance monitoring
- Collaborate with athletic therapy and medicine professionals
- Manage safe operations of training facilities
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Sport Management, or similar
- NSCA CSCS certification or equivalent
- Minimum 1-3 years of coaching experience
- First Aid/CPR certification required
- Robust competitive sports background preferred
