In this role, you will manage the complete design lifecycle for mechanical parts and assemblies at Dana. This includes detailed planning and monitoring from architecture to production, conceiving recent concepts, and validating designs within diverse team environments. Your creativity will be crucial in developing solutions that maximize efficiency and quality in Dana TM4 traction systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and monitor design activities from product architecture to production
• Design mechanical parts while considering thermal and structural constraints
• Support electro-mechanical integration with electrical engineering teams
• Perform analytical calculations alongside advanced calculations experts
• Lead design reviews and support technical coordination
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering required
• Up to 2 years of mechanical design experience
• Familiarity with mechanical modeling software (e.g., NX, Solidworks)
• Knowledge of PLM software and manufacturing processes
• Bilingual in English and French required
