The Store Manager has a key role at Dollarama, managing and overseeing the store operation which includes day-to-day operations, merchandising activities, recruitment and training of new employees, scheduling and inventory management. The Store Manager also ensures that the standards of the store are in line with company guidelines and best practices.
Responsibilities Oversee all day-to-day store operations for efficiency and consistency
Direct merchandising activities to maintain product presentation and replenishment standards
Lead recruitment and training of recent employees
Build and manage staff scheduling based on store operational needs
Oversee inventory management including stock levels and product organization
Ensure the store operates in line with Dollarama's company guidelines and best practices
Manage competing priorities effectively in a dynamic retail environment




Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience in the retail industry
Minimum 1 year of experience in a team management position
Strong leadership and communication skills
Effective time management and ability to manage priorities
Comfort with physical tasks including ladder use and heavy lifting
Availability to work 40–50 hours weekly including days, evenings, and weekends
Flexibility to travel within the assigned region
Legal authorization to work in Canada
Minimum 2 years of retail industry experience; minimum 1 year in a team management position; strong leadership and communication skills; effective time management; legal authorization to work in Canada
