Description The Opportunity Our client is seeking an
Financial Advisor
to support the growth and development of a financial services practice through proactive client engagement, prospecting, sales, and portfolio management. The role has a strong focus on wealth management, while also supporting life and group products and identifying opportunities to deepen client relationships across multiple lines of business.
This is an excellent opportunity for a relationship-focused financial services professional who enjoys developing new business, providing thoughtful advice, and helping clients identify solutions that align with their financial needs and goals.

About You You are a proactive financial services professional who is comfortable building relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and conducting meaningful conversations about clients’ insurance and financial needs. You bring experience with investment and life products and are confident completing client reviews, needs analyses, and front-line risk assessments.
You are organized, client-focused, and able to balance sales activity with strong service and compliance standards. You communicate clearly, work effectively in a technology-dependent environment, and enjoy contributing to the overall success of a team.
Key Responsibilities
Support the development and profitable growth of life, group, and wealth management business, with a particular focus on wealth management
Service and support the existing life, group,
and wealth management portfolio while adhering to applicable compliance requirements
Proactively conduct client reviews focused on life insurance and wealth management needs
Identify prospective clients within both personal and business markets
Prospect and cross-sell across applicable lines of business by completing client needs analyses
Make informed product recommendations based on identified client needs
Complete front-line risk assessment and selection in accordance with underwriting guidelines
Work toward individual client service, sales, quality, and productivity goals while contributing to overall practice growth objectives
Develop annual marketing plans outlining strategies and activities to support business development goals
Support initiatives designed to deepen and expand multi-product client relationships
Respond to client questions and concerns, investigate issues, resolve complaints where appropriate, and escalation matters when required
Support other members of the team with day-to-day activities
Maintain strict confidentiality regarding clients’ medical, financial, and personal information
Necessary Qualifications Include
Life Insurance License
Mutual Fund License
Minimum 3 years of financial services industry experience, including investment and life product sales
Financial planning designation completed or in progress, such as CFP, CLU, PFA, or a comparable designation
Ability to meet and maintain applicable provincial licensing and continuing education requirements
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and time management capabilities
Demonstrated client service, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working in a technology-dependent environment, including proficiency with Microsoft Office
Knowledge of insurance products and strong underwriting skills considered an asset
Additional general insurance licensing may be required depending on the product focus of the position
What to Expect
Occasional travel may be required
Access to a vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and appropriate insurance may be required
Some extended hours, including evenings and weekends, may be necessary
A high degree of discretion and confidentiality is required when handling client information
The successful candidate will be subject to criminal record and consumer history background checks as a condition of employment
