Job Description We are seeking an experienced
ECU Software Developer
with strong automotive domain expertise and hands-on experience in
Model-Based Development (MBD) . The role involves developing ECU software across the complete lifecycle, from requirements and model development through testing, calibration, defect resolution, and production release.
Key Responsibilities
Develop ECU software using a
Model-Based Systems Engineering
approach
Manage the complete ECU software development lifecycle, including requirements, development, testing, debugging, and production releases
Develop MBD solutions for ECUs such as
BCM, HPCM, ABS, ADAS, and HVAC
Perform plant modeling and design control algorithms for dynamic systems
Create model integration frameworks for
Model-in-the-Loop (MIL)
testing
Develop models and applications using
MATLAB/Simulink
Follow
MAAB guidelines and MISRA C
coding standards
Support ECU calibration and software validation
Work with tools such as
RTW/TargetLink, DOORS,
and ClearCase
Develop AUTOSAR-compliant application software
Troubleshoot defects and support software integration and production releases
Required Skills
Solid experience in
ECU software development and automotive embedded systems
Hands-on experience with
Model-Based Development using MATLAB/Simulink
Experience with plant modeling, control algorithm development, MIL testing, and auto-code generation
Knowledge of
MAAB Guidelines and MISRA C
Experience with
AUTOSAR-compliant application development
Knowledge of RTW or TargetLink, DOORS, and ClearCase
Understanding of ECU calibration and automotive software validation
Strong debugging, problem-solving, and software testing skills
Preferred Skills
Experience working with multiple ECU platforms such as BCM, ABS, ADAS, HPCM, or HVAC
Knowledge of automotive software integration and release processes
Experience with embedded C and real-time control systems
